Monroe County Population by Municipality and Decade December 12, 2018

I decided to chart out the population of every town/city in Monroe County by decade since 1910, and added in the new American Community Survey estimates for 2013-17. Monroe County’s population has only grown by 3% since 1970, but that relatively flat figure obscures significant intra-county population trends. The chart below illustrates the relative population shifts within Monroe County from 1910 to 2017.
